Background

The Nobby Owners Association was formed in 1987 by a group of Nobby enthusiasts, it was set up to encourage the restoration of traditional Morcambe Bay Prawner boats, (traditional wooden fishing boats dating back from the late 1800's).

Each year more of these fine fishing vessels are found and restored back to their former glory which requires a lot of skill, effort and time, not to mention money ! They are sailed in our Annual Race on the River Mersey making a beautiful spectacle, with such a fantastic backdrop.



25th Annual AGM

Saturday 4th February 2012 7pm

Any member wishing to be put forward for the posts of President, Treasurer or Secretary Please convey your preference in writing prior to the 4th February. All nominations must be proposed and seconded by fully paid up members of the association.

Food has been arranged for members with a small fee of £5.00 for non-members as a contribution towards the catering. Please invite as many guests as you wish and let Tom know approximate numbers.

The next Committee Meeting will be held at the Liverpool Marina, Coburg Warf, Liverpool, L3 4BP on Tuesday 6th March 2012 at 6.30 pm.
